I drove the truck a few hours ago and it was filamentous. Now the brake won't release and I have it backed into a parking space.

I GOT A 2003 s10 the 3 door truck its not a 4x4 but i would like to take in it look like the toyota pre-runner because those are not 4x4 either but they look like it i want to make my truck i want to put about a 3 inch copy kit the reason i want to do this is because i go off road a lot and i cant afford a 4x4 right now because this is all i got. but i would like to just make it sit a little higher it sits kinda low to the settlings like the little trucks do. but i want it to sit kinda high like a big truck does. how much am i looking at to get this done if its elementary to do it myself i will but i want to get this on really bad i need a average of what im looking at also labor as well and will it be somthing they can do in one day or will i be waiting couple of days to get done please usurp and no funny awnser please

My son in-law has a 1986 Toyota PU he had upstanding gotten that had a new engine but the transmission was out, I recommend him to a cert. mechanic that has done some work for me and others I referred to him without any issues. The truck was brought to him and it was explained he had perfectly gotten the truck and did not know a lot about it’s past. Would it be standard for a cert. mechanic to assure the transmission that was in the truck was the correct one for the truck? The saneness I ask the last one is after ordering a rebuild kit and rebuilding it and it did not work right they said "oh now you need to buy a new valve trunk” after months of them not getting the part they said it kept being the wrong valve body then they discovered they were ordering the part of the sending that should have been in the truck not the one that was in the truck. In the end they said fragments of the old transmission was in the old valve body I say daaaaaaaa you told us the first day you took it apart it was in peaces does it not aim that a part of it would get inside the valve body? Also is it standard for someone to flush out the valve body when they rebuild a transmission? Also so you be aware he has the truck back but has to manually move it through the gears.
While all of this going on with my son in-law, my son who has a 1991 Ford F-250 who had his transmission rebuilt by this very same mechanic around a year before was driving to find his broadcast on fire having to jump out and put it out. In the end his transmission is now trash, they say it was just past it year warranty so they will do nothing. My son looked at his ticket and noticed they had not flushed his valve body nor transmission cooler and he also wonders if this is why his transmission failed so swiftly.

Is 129000 miles too much for a Toyota Tacoma?

I'm looking to buy a cast-off truck, a Toyota Tacoma in particular. I have seen them ranging in miles from 30000 all the way to 250000. So I'm not sure about 129000. I have knowledge of that Toyota has a great reliability rating and they can go several miles. Do you think 129k is too much?
