Dome light not working in 1997 GMC Sierra?

Like the headline says my dome light will not work, it doesn't matter which door is open, what position the key is in or whether or not dome override is pressed. Evidently I've changed the bulb, checked all the fuses, and the strangest part is I've checked it with a test light and there is power there. I've even bewitched a whole (working) assembly from another identical truck and that one didn't even work. The two lights on either side of the dome light DO work when pressed, and the lights under the ruin come on. I'm completely out of ideas.

what is the horse power and torque rating on a 04 gmc Serra 4x4 with a 5.3 liter engine?

the truck is not give fuel it is all factory,no upgrades yet it is a crew cab z-71 5.3 vortec with 265-70-17 tires and 3:73 works ratio

I very recently got a new fuel filter for a 1987 Jimmy with a 2.8 TBI i bought and i cant find where the fuel filter is on the truck.

alright i long for to get subs for my truck but im not sure if i need them or if i will have room, i dont really know much about car audio so ill tell you what i have and would like some sugestions please.

-my truck is a 1995 GMC sierra 1500 archetype cab (so not much room behind or under the seats)

-i still have the stock radio in it (i play my zune of a casset to mp3 thing)

-my side door speakers are Alpine ilk-R 6-1/2 inch 2-way speakers i think its 300 watt max and 100 watt RMS with a 1" tweeter, got em at bestbuy this should be the copy number SPR-17C

- and for the speakers in the back top side right next to my ear i have Pioneer 4" x 6" 3-way speakers 150 watt max and 35 RMS (not completly certain) i got them at bestbuy i belive this is
the model number TS-A4672R

i dont have an amp in my truck either and was thinking if i got one and put it to the speakers i might not need subs because my alpine speakers already hit my doors dense and the guy at bestbuy said my radio only put out 40 watts, so any suggestions you have i would like to hear, i dont constraint anything expensive i just want to have a nice thump sound.

Pontiac competed in prize and replica-for-archetype against Chevy.

It rate a lot of paper money to separate Pontiac products from Chevys so they'd get ANY avenue cred at all...fortune GM didn't have to with investing in a label that at bottom competed with the corporation's heart discredit...peculiarly inasmuch as Chevy's file of SS models.

Dealers kept clamoring for more sustenance-productive uninspired cars, too, and GM unequivocally didn't have the gain to hairpin bend its least rewarding vehicles into inimitable Pontiacs.

GM doesn't have to devote a ton of moneyed to oppose GMCs from Chevys. They offer noble (and at higher prices) as it is. In factually, GMC has outsold Pontiac for more than a decade...
