I want to lift my Toyota Tacoma.?

Its a 2007 2wd instructions transmission. It is currently set low to the ground and i want it raised about 12 inches.

I also want to order bigger wheels and rims and gather all myself so i can save myself the cost of labor.

About how much would this cost and where do i go to order the kit?

12 inches???...can we say compensation issues??? ...but at face value u can get a lift kit

I ambition you are keeping the 2wd for a while as the 3-4000 plus the lift which will be about 2000.00 will not be recouped when you trade in and will void warranty immediatly so without a private road train warranty and putting a 12" on a truck not made for it will run like sh#t with any lift or big tire.When you go to convinced which might be sooner then you think if you do this , You will not get near a 4wd with same thing done in price. Probably a 2wd without lift will outsell a 2wd with lift and tires .Even a Pre-stem cannot get this done as is not bvilt with right suspenion, rear end, cross members, and will have small footprint which will cause it to become angry easily.

Q: After turning onto Hwy. 7 East in my 2004 Mini Cooper, a Toyota Tacoma truck pulled up beside me honking. Next, he pulled in front of me and slammed on his brakes causing me to rear-end him. I didn’t cut him off when making my turn (a witness confirmed this).

Insurance “fault determination rules” say the rear driver is automatically at-fault for rear-end collisions. Apparently, the other driver was charged half at-fault due to the improper lane change, but despite my three witness statements of the trucker’s aggressive driving, I’m still being held 50 per cent at fault.
