will a 87 toyota 4gofer bed fit on an 87 toyota pickup and then will the top of the 4runner bed come off and be able to use as a truck bed?
I have a 1982 Toyota diesel pickup that has been sitting in our back yard for a brace months. I start it up about every 10 days. Every time I start it, it starts right up, absolutely no problems. Tonight, we took it to a grocery cumulate, It's first time on the road since May. When we tried to start it to leave the store, the engine wouldn't crank. My first planning was a low battery (we got a jump, which didn't help), but now it seems like an alternator problem. The voltage meter wasn't dropping when I switched on the incandesce plugs and turned the key. So, as of now, it's sitting in the parking lot at a grocery store, locked up, and not running. Just a recap, when I turned the key to the "on" stance, the dash lights were dimmer than usual. The engine wasn't showing any signs of wanting to monomaniac, either. I think it's an alternator problem, what do you think? Is the store going to get ticked that there's a junky looking (it DID run nicely, though...) truck in the parking lot?

I won't be talented to get to the truck until tomorrow afternoon. It is possible that the batteries could be blown. I charged them a while before leaving, if that would have anything to do with it.
I figured it out-bad starter solenoid. I got it severely by push starting it, though. Thanks guys.
I necessary to replace heated oxygen sensors on my 1994 Toyota truck. I found the one right before the cat. converter, however I am unable to find the other one. I need to put back them so I can pass smog test. I need to try to do this myself.

Okay Motorcycles have one spark plug or 2. And I have a 4 cylinder toyota Pickup truck, 4wd. My uncertainty is, why are 2 cycle engines on motorcycles sound deeper and louder than my 4 cylinder truck? I thought the more spark plugs you have in your mechanism the louder it can get? Mine sounds like a Bumble Bee. Could you explain it to me?

On Friday we (my girlfriend and I) have to go to Austin from Houston for a job interrogate. We have a Toyota pick up. Sheila (girlfriend) says that we can put Marvin (our gray parrot) in the bed of the pickup for the 300 mile oblige. Her plan is to secure the cage directly behind the cab, in the middle. We have a slide open back window, which will allow Sheila to talk to the bird. I have ridden in the back of the truck before, even on the highway, but I muse over the bird might freak out. Anyone with any experience?

I have an 1986 Toyota Pickup with a 22R, I tested the compression of all 4 but reckon 3 reads nothing even though the other 3(1,2,4) read 125psi. The truck runs choppy and when I pull the #3 spark puff wire it makes no difference in the way it runs. I cant figure it out, but the engine does not burn oil or dump it out the out, IF ANYONE CAN HELP I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT.
