2010 Sirius Satellite Radio Adapter/Receiver?

Has anyone self installed the Sirius Lieutenant Radio receiver in their 2010 Toyota Corolla where it interfaces with the stock radio? What are the Sirius parts needed to install this?

Does Mazda have a higher maintenance cost and lower reliability then Honda and Toyota?

I've been searching for a new car in the olden times 2 weeks and had narrowed it down to the Honda Civic 2009 and the Corolla S 2010. However, the Mazda3 2009 is starting to with my eye with it's great looks. I was told that it had higher maintenance costs but what does that mean? Does it sordid that it would cost more to replace the parts in the future and that it is harder to find parts in the aftermarkets? That is my only concern, having to shell out a lot more money and having to put on it in to repair shops more often then a Honda or Toyota in the future. Thanks in advance. (Sorry I think I posted this in Allowance and Repair as well but I think it should be in new cars).

higher alimony cost - depends on where you are. in my city, yes, and it's not as easy because there are only 4 mazda dealerships, whereas there are at least 15 each of honda and toyota dealerships around. and here, yes, parts are a bit more valuable for mazda. however in terms of reliability, given the same owner, they're about the same.

Honda is much more conscientious than Mazda. But more importantly, it's the resale that's significant not the maintenance cost.

There's no logically to say the Mazda is less reliable than Honda. The best thing is to look at individual consumer reports for the models.

But in actuality, why buy a new car at all? You can get a two year old lease return with 35,000 miles on it for about half the price of the new model. It just makes more import.

My recommendation is to get a lease return Mazda6 with the 2.5L performance 4 cylinder. It's a brilliant car with a lot of lower-end torque for a lot of get-go off the front line, and it does 30mpg on the highway. Plus, a lease return will still be under warranty, and you can put a little of the money you saved into an extended promise from a third party company after the manuf. runs out.

And then, you'll still have several thousand left over! Big-screen TV? Lease returns be in power over!

My awareness is Mazda is almost as good as honda or toyota but not quite.

I bought & sold many older used mazdas over the years and felt they were very company values as compared to Honda or Toyota.

The Mazda isn't any less sound than the others. In fact, there are more aftermarket go fast goodies out there for the Mazda. Many people race the Mazdas on weekends at SCCA events. If you dig one, you'll understand. Good luck.
