At most had the carb redone, the engine has just recently been completely rebuilt! According to the manual we have all the hoses connected correctly! You have to keep it revved at 1 other wise if you let your foot off the gas is sputter's and dies! We also just replaced the dis cap and sparks! Anyone else have any ideas?

My Common System:
CDA-9886 Alpine Headunit,
Yellow Top Optima Battery.
1991 Toyota Celica Convertible
Not the impressive but certainly high-priced and of high quality.
I want to keep the system strictly Alpine. And I want a nice system.
Would you go with a 12" genus x or two 10" type r's? Sealed or ported box? Which amp? Which Speakers? I'd like balance, but also a LOT of bass competence. I'd like to keep the price around 700. For mostly rap.
Thanks for the help. I'm somewhat of a newbe.
p.s. i'd like to take advantage of the battery, but not put the subs at jeopardy of being blown. Any tips with that?

I high-pressure a 1996 Toyota Celica. My front disc brakes and pads are still good (both still have about 1/4" pad thickness), but I'm pretty convinced my rear drum brakes shoes are toast (grinding noise on passenger side rear when braking, heard incomprehensible pop from driver side rear 2 days ago and similar sound from passenger side rear yesterday).
I've been driving it and it still seems to put on normally, only with a slight shuddering from higher speeds.
Can I still drive it until I replace the rear brake shoes tomorrow morning?
