I have a 1991 toyota camry dx, 4 cylinder, impulsive. When i first bought the car it shook a little bit. I put 18 inch chrome rims on it and it still does the same thing. I also balanced all the wheels before putting them on. What would be some reasons why it shakes?
If you haven't already, you may miss an alignment.

I recommend you have your tires checked out. Have you hit any curbs or anything that might have bent the rim? I had a '94 olds that would shake between 55 and 70 mph. After 70 it would close, turns out one of my front tires had a bent rim.
Other than that it's an alignment issue. Hope this helps :)

Rather old car.
New years, suspension technology has been greatly improved.
If anything, it's due to the old suspension.

Check out your tires first inside and outside sidewall if it has a part that is ballon or oblong. same thing with your rims. Even you balance a tires and rims with works defects it will still shakes. If your rims and tires are all okay you can bring your car for alignment and camber test. Wish this helps!

Ok snowy smoke coming from my car. THere is no over heating and all of the fluid levels look to be good. I checked the oil and it looks very much common, no chocolate milky look like i have been told to look for in case it may be a head gasket. There is a likelihood that i put some bad gas in it (water logged or stihl) from my gas tank that I have outside but the car has been doing this for 5 days now and have put 20 dollars of gas in it in which i mull over it would have already filtered out by now. There is one possible other explanation and that is I haven't changed my oil in a pretty good while and it may be that smoking but it doesn't look bluish color like oil should look when it burns. The smoking mostly occurs during initial start up and lasts 30 seconds at most. It is alot of smoke at first but dies down in full after 30 or so seconds. Periodically through out the day there is absolutely no smoke, sometimes alot, and sometimes in between. There is absolutely no performance problems, every once in a while there is a young slow start up but its a 1996 toyota camry. Was wondering if you guys know what may be going on. Any help would be great.
Corpse-like smoke is coming from tailpipe not the actual car itself! Also figured slow start up becasue of older car.
Anti Frost is completely full and doesn't look like oil is getting into it or anything. Also there is not hesitation in starting up the car like there may be if a blown or cracked faculty gasket.
Checked the radiator and there was coolant at the exact level it was suppose to be in. Didn't crank the car up becasue tere are still no signs of coolant erosion in the resuvoir or the radiator. Radiator pressure was there and again the coolant level was at the top in the radiator.

I have had my Camry for a few months now and have had no problems at all uncommonly for an old car.
But yesterday I got out of the car, and like I always do, I use the power locks located on my car door to lock the doors, but for some reason it has never locked my driver door, so I righteous manually lock that myself and shut the door. No big deal.
But then I come back to get in my car, and my key won't turn at all. And the key has never worked on the passenger side, so I use the power retain key chain, and it unlocks all of my doors except the driver's door.
So then I crawl from the passenger side to the driver side hoping I can solely manually unlock it. It's jammed, it won't go over. And when I finally did manage to get it to "unlock", the door still would not get.
Trust me, I've kicked at it, pulled at it, pleaded with it, that damn door is not budging. I need help. Any suggestion?

MALAYSIAN MOTOR TRADER NEWS - FIRST LOOKS - Toyota Camry Facelift
Since the Camry has arrived in Malaysia in June 1994 as Toyota's second place "crazy car" (after Corolla), it held a drunken state on the sales table, on balance the rule in the joint government sedan.'s approval is not surprising as it was, after all, the Toyota to be the first to the most appropriate way of selling cars in the suburban American Stock Exchange.
Over the years, the Camry has stuck to a prominent route that made the first acceptance for several leaders, and in that subdivide, serious changes are unlikely.Customers are older than a single act and search for attributes and the proven value of money hard and cold, the ability to turn fulgurous not change from time to time.
Based on this wisdom similar requirements, Toyota designers have been careful with the lifting mid-label for contemporary Camry, freshening the air a little, but keeping all the proven qualities that have made the Camry a commander of his own species....
Reader Review of the Week: 2010 Toyota Camry - KickingTires
by Stephen Markley
I recently bought a 2010 Camry LE. I admit with this reviewer that the car is passionate all-inclusive but a couple of negatives would be the steering and handling which is way too evolve and slushy with handling that is only actually great at highway cruising. Secondly, the shipment downshifts annoyingly in pause and go conveyance and sometimes downshifts harshly when coming to a layover before for all upshifting with an unpleasant but not dour thump...not absolutely what you would count on from allegedly one of the smoothest powertrains in the profession. The standouts are the soundless and fluent harry, extensive acceleration (very unconstrained and posh) even with the cheap 169 hp motor, courteous looks and the skilful stereo system which always seems to transcend Honda's plant systems by a landslide. MPG is also very penetrating for a car this dimension and with this classification power and acceleration. BUT, Please, Toyota, M ON THE Transferral on the next Camry...there have been on and off glitches since 2007 and its pass you got it Set to rights on this otherwise loyal car!!
