Car shakes when i drive over 60mph, why is this?

I have a 1991 toyota camry dx, 4 cylinder, mechanical. When i first bought the car it shook a little bit. I put 18 inch chrome rims on it and it still does the same thing. I also balanced all the wheels before putting them on. What would be some reasons why it shakes?

We are looking at two vehicles for transaction. Our mechanic hasn't checked them out yet, but I'm debating as to whether or not an "old school" 1991 model or the new 1994 is more.

It seems that the 1991 Camrys have very high consumer ratings, and I myself prefer the older cars. I realize about the no airbag predicament, but I also know that airbags all too often don't even deploy anyway, according to my research. I also feel more comfortable behind the wheel of an older car.

As far as "looks", it doesn't uncommonly mean anything to me. I need reliability above all else.

I would appreciate any opinions on this. The mileage on the 1991 is 105,000. I don't yet have the mileage on the 1994.

car oil leak repair trouble?

My car (1993 Toyota camry), has lose oil leak. I went to Toyota dealer for fix. after check, I was told there are 3 leaks, distributor O-ring, Valve seal and oil pan gasket. the most important leak is from oil pan. so I decide to fix oil pan gasket, cost 300$. plus wheel adjust, change brakes, aggregate $500. I put car in in the morning, will pick up after work. but at afternoon, I was told they fixed the gasket, after driving examine there is still leak, they have redo the work. I have to wait to next day.
Next day, when I pick up car, Service guy told me they found another leak, main seal, to fix it costing 1000$. I in doubt they try to make me spend more money, and I did not see much oil on the bottom. So I said I can afford that cost. I will keep eye on it.
Just I drive out of the shop, on the way I found smoke came out under hood, I drove back, services guy told me it was oil drip on exhaust cause the smoke. I said OK, I'll keep eye on it.
In the following weekend, my wife and I could still detect the burning smell. On Monday I drive to the shop, service guy lift car in air to make sure that's oil ignite. To my surprise, there is oil collected under the car, He told me it's main seal leak. I said I never has this problem before, how come after your nick my gasket, then there is this problem out standing? He said, " you mean to fix gasket, cause this leak? No, they are not consanguineous, main seal is up up on top. the repair made the leak worse? It's possible, we can give you $300 credit, so you have to pay $700 to fix the principal seal leak. "
I have no experience how to deal with this case, I said I could pay another $200 to fix main seal disclosure. He would take it. I want to talk to their manager. I want to hear from your suggestion, what should I do?
Apparently, they made my car a new problem but they won't admit.

Investigate to see if they are a member of the BBB. If they are get there BBB # and turn them in. If not call the states attorney generals office and go from there. Some red tape But, you do want to be vindicated

I demand to pull these parts for my P.O.S. 1990 Camry 4 cyl. What tools will I need? How the hell do I do this? I've never even changed my oil. : - D This just needs to get bent A.S.A.P. because my tire is rubbing against my wheel well and affecting my steering and I don't have the money to take it to a shop. Can anybody list the steps to pulling these parts from a garbage yard?

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry does it need a 4 wheel alignment or 2 wheel?

This is nature of a trick question that you are asking. If you take your vehicle to any shop that has modern alignment equipment you will be getting a four annulus alignment regardless. You may consider a four wheel alignment to be adjusting both the front and the rear wheels but that is not what I mean by four wheel alignment. Present-day alignment equipment attaches sensor to all four wheels regardless of if the rear wheels can be adjusted or not. They do this so that the front wheels can be adjusted accordingly to how the end wheels are adjusted or pointed so that the vehicle can track (go down the road) as straight as possible.
