What does the button with a picture of a key inside of a car do on a Scion tC?

I'm buying a hardened 2005 scion tc, and when we went to test drive it, under the radio there was a button with a picture of a car and it had a key inside of it, and the guy I'm buying from didn't identify what it was for...

What should I do to my 06 Azure Pearl Scion tC?

Need help with satellite radio in scion.?

I well-grounded bought a 2005 Scion tc, which the factory radio is satellite radio ready. Does this mean I miss a separate XM/Sirius receiver or can I just activate with the factory radio.

I told one of my friends I requisite to buy a used 2005 Scion tC and he said those cars suck. For all the people who have had been involed with a tC somehow weather you've driven your friends or it's yours, what do you conceive of of them and what do you think "sucks" about them?

i own one, an 05 i like it and havent had any problems. i take control of mine so i havent had anything happen to it. some people dont take care of their car and it wears on them. ive never had problems with the sun roof rattling, the invent i fixed easy by my self. its a Toyota so its a good car. my gas mileage varies from 22-30mpg deending on how i zip, easy for hard. i fit a crap load of junk that i really dont like hauling. its a awful car. the reason why most people say it sucks is because they think its slow POS but its not. its a nice powerfull little car for it being 3000 lbs. consonance it up, drop in a turbo tune it to 8 psi and your pushing 250-280whp, and still get better gas mileage than anyother car that has a turbo in that power pigeon-hole. i like it, and the thing about the 05's is it only has 3 air bags versus later models which have like 9 air bags... that doubtlessly why your friend says it sucks, is because he thinks its slow Camry engine. but its not a Camry engine because a Camry is a car. the appliance is a 2AZ. the engine is based on the engine the Camry uses. its shares the same block and engine code (2AZ-FE) but the internals are completly other. its a good car. a couple mods on it like cold air intake, exhaust, headers and an engine nut pulley and you can go up against a Civic Si, and the tC would still come out cheaper. same when turboing it. simple turbo and extra mods and you can go up against an Evo, or Sti for a cheaper outlay.

Im looking to buy a scion tc, and a 2010 copy is around $18,700. I've also looked up a 2009 use with 1,600 miles, for $9,995.but its salvaged, was hit on the passengers side, but repaired.I upon the 09 is a brand new car still, and half of what a 2010 cost. But im afraid the car being salvaged doesn't make it loyal. Plus its being sold from a private party.
What do you guys think,?

2010 scion tc ipod hook up help!!!!!!!?

okay, so i lawful bought the car. its got the two hook ups one for AUX and one says ipod. they gave me an AUX wire that plugs into the cable and then into the ipod where the headman phones go, but it didnt work. So then i tried the USB chord which in the picture looks exactly like the connector for your computer to enjoin it. Didn't work. what the hell cable do I have to use or am I just doing it completely wrong? Even when i press the ipod/aux button nothin happens.
