Hey! So I'm conclusion about buying a used '97 Land Rover Discovery. I want a nice luxury vehicle that will be reliable. I have conclude from mixed reviews of the 1997 model and I am not sure which side I should go with. Does anybody have experience with land rovers or can set forward a reliable SUV?
The specs of the Rover are as follows:
130,XXX miles
8 Cyl 4.0L/241 Gas
Stock No.LM726017

I WOULD SAY Lay UP YOUR MONEY BUY A NEW ONE. OR MAYBE GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY ON IT.. CUZ THEY ARE PRICEY TO FIX

It is a very clever and beautifully made truck. I've had one of these for 1 wk as courtesy car and I enjoyed it.In fact I drove it through a storm zero visibility in flooded areas with fine fantastic confidence . It is durable, rugged but classy a bit more carefree take-me -anywhere than the range, 7 seats and almost everything else come benchmark. If looking for preowned try the dealership demos or courtesy cars. The demos are usually fully equipped. Get a bumper to bumper extended guarantee as well on these as they are pretty expensive to fix.

oh ano my honda goes though a tank a day, but there advantageous fun.

Land Rover Defender (LWB) ... my girl for 18 years!

It's still going strong with 289,748 miles on the clock ... but I have just bought an Audi A6 Allroad for days when I stress to be posh (she-who-must-be-obeyed made me up-grade).
