Is a 06-08 Honda Civic Si a good first car?

Okay, im 16 and should be getting my car in about a year or less... I am unprejudiced wondering if a used stock Honda Civic Si coupe is a good first car? I am thinking realisticly because I be familiar with a 07 Subaru Impreza WRX STi is out of the question, heh.

I muse over that is an excellent car as long as you can afford it. Make sure you have money saved for insurance & car repairs because Hondas can be valuable to fix but, rarely break down. If the WRX is your current dream, the Civic is an excellent, dependable step down from it.

I make up the Civic Si is a good car in terms of value for money. It's cheaper than an Impreza WRX STi but it's not exactly a boring car to drive either.

It's a healthy compromise between performance and budget.
