Subaru Forester SF5. Engine EJ20-Turbo. When you accelerate the utensils change from 1 to 2 and 2 to3 is rough. You can feel the kick in. What to check and what to adjust. ATF and Gear Oil in good condition. Acknowledgement you.

What are some charitable exhausts that would fit an '03 Subaru Outback? I'm looking for an exhaust that would give the engine a low rumble noise? But any good mod-type fumes suggestions will be helpful.

My Subaru Legacy Outback is Using / Burning Coolant?

I have a 97 Legacy Outback w/ 170k on it. I replaced the radiator last year and it has been working smashing until recently when the temp gauge started going up. The radiator coolant level was down and the expansion reservoir was thoroughly full. I noticed the radiator cap was a little worn around the seal, so I replaced that thinking it may have let coolant go into the tube/dilation reservoir. Now every couple weeks I have to add coolant (maybe 1-2 quarts) to the radiator because it's low. I have no white smoke and oil color looks routine. Any ideas on what's going on? I don't notice any leaks on the garage floor or when the engine is hot. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

I live in maryland and i need to think of a car to get under 14grand...this is my first car n i want the car to be like a tuner/denote...ineeds to be 09-10 fresh...somerhing that can turn heads and that people like...something that i can work with for the engine...(scion toyota mitsuibishi honda subaru nissan acura or something like that)

I dont desire a long car thats a sedan or convertible but a coupe...2 door and maybe 4 door...please labourers me think

Subaru WRX turbo care?

I hardly bought a 2002 WRX and I have heard a few times that you need to leave the engine running for x amount of time before shutting it down... Is there any accuracy to this, should I be more cautious in the winter??? I have also been told that a lot of highway driving can be bad for the turbo... I tried decree info in the owners manual but it doesn't say anything about taking care of the turbo... any helpful tips.

Why is there smoke under my hood?

I have thoughtful of a dilemma, or at least possibly one. My 1998 Subaru Outback, is producing white smoke. The problem all started about a year ago when it had a indisposed of funny, burning rubber smell to it under the hood. I talked to my dad about it, and he said it was nothing to worry about. However, I noticed that if I went yearn distances (IE 60-100 miles) that I would see smoke under the hood once I parked. Now, it's worse than before, it only takes about 5-10 miles for it to start smoking. Also, now when I go for want drives, it smokes a lot more than before. I sort of experimented, drove for about ten miles, had the fan and air conditioner off, and found out that I think it didn't smoke or inordinately heat up. I only did this once, so I don't know if it was just by coincidence. I'm kind of worried about it, I'm afraid that I'm going to be stuck on the side of the course sometime, or that it will blow up. It also makes a squeaking sound quite often, like a belt or a break is about to go out. It does it exactly randomly, for instance: sometimes when I have the air conditioner on/off, when I first start it, when I'm turning, or when it feels like it (I guess). So, I got the belts replaced, but it still makes the noises, it's very noisy, and a little embarrassing. I don't know much about cars at all, so I'm very confused, and any advice would be greatly appreciated. I take fairly sound care of it, and make sure that I always get my oil changed (which I did a couple weeks ago). There is corrosion on the battery, and the engine is somewhat dirty, which I have no idea how to clean and would probably ruin something if I did. I love driving a Subaru, but I'm a little weary about driving this one. Anyone have any thoughts about what's wealthy on? I tried to be as detailed as possible without going overboard. Sorry if this was too long of a note. Thanks for any assistants!
