En del undrar vad det är som driver mig att göra det jag gör. Varför fotografera och skriva om gamla bruksbilar? En del av svaret är att dokumentera och informera, att sprida mitt budskap om dessa bilars historiska och kulturella värde. En annan del av svaret är det ständiga sökandet och den tillfredsställelse det ger att finna något riktigt speciellt (och i min värld är det snarare Fiat än Ferrari, Lada än Lamborghini). En del söker kickar genom att hoppa fallskärm eller testa droger eller något annat. Jag fotograferar rostiga bilar. Det ger inte alltid en kick, men när väl ett riktigt rart exemplar dyker upp börjar hjärtat slå hårdare, munnen blir torr, seendet blir tunnelartat och jag vill bara ropa: "Kolla! Kolla vad jag hittat!"

A few weeks ago, I walked through the "Old Mooring" division of Portland, Maine (remember the old village, Stockholm, Sweden) and came across a beautiful Saab 9-5 Sedan. This car further discussion was certainly not fair well maintained, but certainly a car enthusiasts none of my colleagues can diagnose Saab as a friend of theirs.
Concessions aways with this car some were the first replacements and end tag logo of Saab with the logo of generalized Scania trucks (energetic to get), followed by replacing the crosshair grille with and apply signal bulbs and is the target for the outdoors. The hinterland has been improved, with a concentration in its finicky and square lever pressed by the mine in aluminum.
