Can a fuel pump from a saab 9000 be used in a saab 900s?

I have a saab 900s 1995 standard, and my fuel pump is dead. I recently found a scrap saab 9000 (not sure on the year of this) and would just like to identify whether it´s actually worth my while taking off the whole fuel tank to take out a pump that will not be compatible in my 900s!

To buy a new fuel animate, it´s also quite pricey.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

take the examine out of the 9000 and see if it is similar to yours if it is than all you have to do is see if it lines up with all of the pipes and electric outlet.

If the provocation pump is in the tank, I'd suspect it would work? All it does is pump gas to the engine. Check out the size of the motor and see if it's the same as yours. A stonger pump may be needed for a bigger engine.

If it were me, I'd give it a try and see if it worked.
