Dankzij de NS, prachtige weken. Op dit soort momenten weet je weer precies waarvoor je het doet: ik koester mijn automobielen. Vorige week bereikte de prijs voor een liter benzine opnieuw een record, maar ik had het er graag voor over. Ik heb echt veertien dagen lang met een grote glimlach op m'n gezicht benzine in de Saab 900 staan gooien. Ik ben zelfs speciaal in het Noorden gaan schaatsen om maar extra kilometers te maken. 'Wilt u ook gebruikmaken van onze speciale aanbieding?' vroeg een pompmedewerkster die aan mijn gezicht kon aflezen dat er bij mij iets te halen viel. 'Een koffiemok en veertien pakjes Sportlife voor maar €12,99.' Welja, waarom ook niet. Het was tenslotte feest.Digg Headlines

Serving as JFK Jr.’s daily driver at the time of his 1999 death, the three-door 900 SE is, as the auction states, “as John F. Kennedy Jr. left it.”
