Hey I own a 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero. I lack to install a speaker box and amp. I have done this before in a previous saab. I have the speaker box, i have a power cable to the amp from the battery. I have a good ground for the amp. Now for the RCA's to go in the amp without looking for them behind the stereo i installed this Occupation Out Connvertors, that connect to the rear speakers. Now where i'm stuck is, the amp wont turn on. Someone said I need a out-of-the-way to turn it on. So do i run a remote to the back of the stock stereo? or can i splice the "stock" amp in the trunk of my car and use that inconsiderable to turn on my amp? If i can use the stock amp which would be the easiest way, if I even have to do it at all. Do you know which wire to the amp is the remote wire?? Thanks for your time, and even if you could give me another website to look at that would be appreciated. Thanks
To have a amp disenchant on you need to have:
power wire....you have
ground wire.....you have
RCA cables.......you have
Sequestered Wire.....you don't have.....This wire tells the amp to turn on
Its much better if you get the remote wire from behind the command unit of the radio because this is right from the radio. The remote wire is normally marked as remote but you should get a after Stock Exchange radio because everything will sound better and be easyer to hock up.

its rout to find the wire from your stock amp, you can hook up your remote to any ignition wire, but that means your amp will be on anytime your car is on. which sounds ok, but you dearth it on ONLY when your stereo is on.

Did anyone go to it and open it, If you did what happenend ?
The coolant reservoir appears pink in color, does that humour it the red or orange anti freeze? I just want to top it off and I know not all coolants are the same nor do they all mix.

I have a 2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen convertible and the box will no longer open by key, remote or door button. According to the manual there is a release lever on the favourable of the trunk door. I am convinced that there is none. I want to know if there is a way to open it manually. Would appreciate diagrams with any answers.
