Hook up speaker box using the stock stereo?

Hey I own a 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero. I pauperism to install a speaker box and amp. I have done this before in a previous saab. I have the speaker box, i have a power cable to the amp from the battery. I have a good ground for the amp. Now for the RCA's to go in the amp without looking for them behind the stereo i installed this On the short list for Out Connvertors, that connect to the rear speakers. Now where i'm stuck is, the amp wont turn on. Someone said I need a subtle to turn it on. So do i run a remote to the back of the stock stereo? or can i splice the "stock" amp in the trunk of my car and use that lonely to turn on my amp? If i can use the stock amp which would be the easiest way, if I even have to do it at all. Do you know which wire to the amp is the remote wire?? Thanks for your time, and even if you could give me another website to look at that would be appreciated. Thanks

To have a amp go on you need to have:
power wire....you have
ground wire.....you have
RCA cables.......you have
Insignificant Wire.....you don't have.....This wire tells the amp to turn on
Its much better if you get the remote wire from behind the Mr Big unit of the radio because this is right from the radio. The remote wire is normally marked as remote but you should get a after vend radio because everything will sound better and be easyer to hock up.

its most artistically to find the wire from your stock amp, you can hook up your remote to any ignition wire, but that means your amp will be on anytime your car is on. which sounds ok, but you need it on ONLY when your stereo is on.
