Would a Nissan 300zx TT be faster then a 2006 ford mustang?

Would A Matching turbo 300zx be faster then the 2006 ford mustang not gt version

Firm to toss up...the V-6 in both make about the same HP, but the Ford is a more modern engine.

Also, is one an auto/manual? How tired is that 300ZX after 15-20 years?

while the 300zx is not a cogent quarter mile car.. the 300zx tt runs mid 13s and the 2006 mustang gt runs mid to low 14s.. so yes the 300zx tt would be faster than a mustang with only a v6.. also with forged internals the 300zx is gifted of 600hp.. whereas i've never seen a new mustang v6 with more than 400hp

A livestock V6 mustang shouldnt be tryin to race anyone just doin what it was made for, taking the females to the mall and lookin stylish..

THE Riddle BETWEEN THE 2 CARS IS OBVIOUS. THE MUSTANG HAS A LARGER ENGINE THAT COMES WITH TORQUE. WHILE THE 300ZX HAS A TURBO LAG.
I WOULD STILL GO FOR THE Z THEY ARE MUCH Pulchritudinous CARS

Can I put a Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo VG30DETT Engine in a 1990 300zx Non Turbo?

I am buying a 1990 Nissan 300zx non turbo. It needs a tranmission. I found a machine+trans with 100,000 km on it. The engine in a Twin Turbo though. I'm not sure I can put it in or not?
Does anyone know if you can do that?

im outlook about getting a '87 300zx (non turbo base). if the engine breaks down, is there any way to get a genuine nissan engine for this model?

I have a approve of hand Nissan 300zx twin turbo... Which are great fun to drive by the way, but the 0 - 60 time isn't what i'm utilized to, so how do i increase it's nort to sixty time?

hey guys I'm stuck on a seldom choice I've been debating on for a couple weeks now. I'm in the market to buy a new car and wanted to upgrade from my 1992 Nissan 300ZX; I was either booming to get a certified pre-owned 08 BMW M3 for $52,000 OR buy the 09 Nissan 370Z for $27,000 (I get a discount) and throw in a GTM HR Yoke Turbo kit for $15,000 rated at about 600 rwhp. I think the Nissan is the smarter buy considering it will be more dependable (not so much with a TT) but much easier to toil on myself considering much of the M3 work must be done at a dealer. Stock-wise there is no comparison, the M3 is much quicker and all-around unbeatable from a Z stand-specifics pointer but I think the 370Z with the TT kit will allow it to torch practically anything on the road.
I would get an EVO but EEEEVVEERRRYYYOONNNEEE has them, their too cheesy for me plus I'm pensive I stick with the Z's since I know how to work on them. As far as the engine goes, I was planning on putting in a GTM Stage 6 HR 4.5L Sleeved STROKER Shortblock then boosting it.

Sometimes a back-to-the-roots approach is just what's needed. Case in point: the Nissan Maxima. Originating in the 1980s, complete with fully-independent suspension, rear-wheel drive, and the engine from the original 240Z (in a slightly different state of tune), the Maxima was not your typical Japanese mass-market midsize sedan. A 1985 chassis change to front-wheel drive dulled it not at all, as careful tuning and the engine from the then-current 300ZX emphasized its sporty character. The peak was between 1989 and 1995, when Nissan called its Maxima "the 4-Door Sports Car", aka 4DSC. It was a fine, and affordable, sports sedan, as much a rarity then as now from a non-European automaker.
