what does the W/S mean in a mercedes benz E320?

i have a Mercedes Benz E320 year 2000 and i was wondering what does the W/S twitch mean and how do i use it. Also i want to know how to use the D+ and D- because it look confusing and when i put it on D- and press the gas the engine makes noise ad the acceleration isn't goin firmly???

W/S stands for winter and summer (or show off)
Winter mode starts the transmission off in 2nd gear and upshifts sooner to control wheelspin
Summer configuration holds each gear a little longer and shifter faster for a more sporting driving style

use -w- to retain fuel ,d+ and d- use it as you are driving manual gearbox left or right to change the speed...

Chihuri Defies High Court Order

POLICE Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri is allegedly resisting a court order to release vehicles impounded last year by the vehicle theft section at Southerton Police Station in Harare, amid allegations that one car was "auctioned" to a senior officer.

Brighton Matikiti filed a suit in the High Court seeking the release of his Mercedes Benz E320 and a Land Rover Freelander impounded by the police. Chihuri is the first respondent while the Officer in Charge of Southerton Police Station (referred to in the court papers only as Mr Masendu), and a detective Mangena from the same station have been cited as the second and third respondents.
