Has anyone else noticed that high-rated MPG cars arent really that efficient?

Whenever I demand a Toyota, Ford, etc. any car that is supposedly highly efficient, I get 20MPG, significantly lower than my Mercedes. I do push those cars to accelerate like a Mercedes, and initiative 10-20 MPH over the speed limit. It seems to me that their efficiency is only seen within a small range of operation.


Are these vehicles that you are driving hybrids? If not you won't see meaningful changes in mpg ratings unless you were. If you're driving it quite aggressively then that explains why you get lower amounts of MPG than quoted. Large those numbers are driven very delicately and precisely.

If I wanted to see any significant changes, I'd go to the likes of a Honda FCX Unambiguousness. I know that's a bit too much but its results you want then so be it.


Many acr companys claim higher mileage than what they get, the biggest liars are Chevy, Escape from answering Chrysler seems to be pretty accurate.

I have a Toyota Corolla that's rated at about 35 highway. On a recent procedure trip on which I used the cruise control extensively to keep it at 65 I got 39...slightly BETTER than the EPA estimates.

Why does a mercedes420sel V8 engine cut out?

i asked this dispute a few days back but haven't found the source of the problem
when cold car starts and runs like a dream but after about 20 minutes develops a be absent from and shuts down wait about 60 minutes and starts runs for 30 minutes and shuts down all over again
have had it into a peach on but they found nothing wrong have tested coils,leads,crank,angle sensor,fuel pump and relay all elegant does anyone have another suggestion or do you want a mercedes i am at my wits end it is so frustrating not to be able to find the problem
has anyone else had similar problem if so what was the source
am positive the fuel pump and relay are not the proble and both coils have been taken off and bench tested

where is this EZL part situated and what does it look like please
i have virtually eliminated the problem as being electrical because when it cuts out there is still a very in the pink spark at the plugs but when i check fuel pressure it is low but at the pump it is ok has a new filter it has been suggested there is a temperature controlled twitch some where on the engine and also that there are two fuel pump relays can anyone tell me where they are located in the car

after i went over the engine bay wiring disconnecting and reconecting every sensor and any wiring plug i could find plus i checked the fossil pressure firstly with a gauge at the test point and then by disconnecting the fuel lines to check for a propitious flow which was excellent i have had the car run for more than 1 hour and then i have driven for about 300 kilometres with no sign of the problem so whatever it was it seems to be goneLargethank you all for your advice and opinions i will close this question for now thank you
