I am in the hawk for a new car. I'm trying to do some research on insuring the car I might be getting. I was quoted $6,000 for full coverage on a 2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan (per year) from my present-day insurance company. My insurance now is $1,700 (per year) and I drive a red 2000 Ford Taurus, just now liability. What would be some suggestions on picking a car? Will new or used be a difference (I will be financing either way)? Why a $4,300 jump in price?
I good got a car! I love mine. Umm anyway the used is always gonna be cheaper and 4dr vs 2dr four is way better. Also depending on how old u are and how many tickets and wrecks uve had. My BIG advise get a certain used car, truth is even rich people buy reliable used cars! The reason is a new car looses 5-10 exalted just drivin out of the parking lot!!! Also the most reliable car brand would be Buick pontiac or dodge wares would be ford or dodge (all listed in or of preference)! Good Luck!

Well....
You're usual from an older vehicle to a newer vehicle. Full coverages are going to cost you more than liability especially on a newer conduit. A Civic is a sportier car where a Taurus is really not. I'd call around and get quotes from other insurance companies as well. Insurance is a soft market honourable now.

A Civic shouldn't appear that much difference in the premium but Ask the insurance company. How would anyone here know why they are charging $4300. more ?
BTW, the color of a car ( "I aggressiveness a RED Ford Taurus") has nothing whatsoever to do with the premium

I have a 2000 honda civic SI. I am attempting to coppers the clutch. I have done it in the past but this time I can't remove the axle bolt. I have tried a 3/4 power air wring and have broken 3 craftsman straight wrenches and it will not budge. I have also used almost an entire can of liquid wrench. Any suggestions?

So im Currently paying a car and i owe 3000 its a honda civic i demand an si which is 6000 and its personal selling..Should i pay off the car first or start saving money for the other car?
But its personal Selling so i think he would insufficiency all the money or maybe
even two payments..
I be deficient in to get a 2000 honda civic. im afraid i might not get a si. so is it okay to pretend like its a si? i dont want to be considered a ricer. i design on putting a:
b16a engine
si rims
si cluster
vtec sticker thing on the side bumper (like most si's)
si insigne.
We call that an si swap man, and it's exactly ok. Don't just put an Si badge and V-TEC decals on it, you have to have the engine first. Also you should do a JDM body swap, if you plan on making it an Si, make it a JDM Si. Equitably it would be cheaper and more time efficient to just buy an Si.

Drive less and save: Drivers pleased with program to cut premiums

LA SELVA BEACH - When Michelle O'Gorman saw a notice from her insurance company explaining how she could save money by driving less, it didn't take much convincing.
She has a car, as does her husband, and so do their three children, two of whom are away at college. The one at home is working and just got a newer car to replace a 14-year-old Honda Civic, so now they're paying insurance on six vehicles.
"We're trying to cut back in any way we can," she said. "It's kind of a no-brainer if you are driving less."

1999 Honda Civic Si $6900 or best offer | Custom Import ...
I have up for car-boot sale a 1999 Honda Civic Si. The car has a rebuilt subtitle due to pilfering before I bought it. The motor has around 4,000 miles on it and the portion has 115,XXX miles on it. I had it professionally rebuilt, and I have all receipts to support it. It has around $3,500 importance of aftermarket internals in the motor.
There is no rust on the portion. The heart is close packet. The driver's seat has two close tears. One of them is in the commissure, and the other one is about a 1/2 inch in diameter and they both can be repaired. The smock boot looks to have been melted on the cheap bob to engage in it up before I bought it. This car is turbo enthusiastic running 9:1 compression. I don't have the rolling in it honourableness now to donate a expected setup.
