What is a nice, ideal car for teens?
My daddy and I are looking for cars for me, I'm 17.5 and have had my license for a year now.
We have a budget of around 25k and are looking for new 2009-2010 cars.
No Scion Tcs/Mazda 3s/Honda Accords/Civics.
We have been strongly inasmuch as the '09 Altima
If anyone has any suggestions or comments please help me out.
if it were me look for a 2005 corvette but a car from 2009 or 10 i would go with 350z rx8 or maxima. but if i were your parents i in all likelihood would buy a truck like a tacoma but that is a lot of money for a car for your age you should be getting around a $6000 car
When I skim the the caption for your question and didn't know the budget; I was thinking a 1996 to 2000 Saab 900. Whole and sporty.
With a 25K budget you have lots of choices and the Altima isn't bad. However, Nissan's reliability just isn't on par with Honda and Toyota.
If I were in your shoes I would go with a attractive used car and bank the money. Cars just depreciate over time. Let someone else pay for the depreciation and go with a 2 to 3 year old car. Stock luck.

Why not take into a Toyota Prius in that budget, it would be among the most fuel efficient? Though also the hybrid may demand extra care and continuation, and it may depend on how attentive you are whether that is a good deal for you.
Ok first of all no altima's
Go out and get a charter out on a 2009 BMW 1 or 3 series. You will be driving a nice luxury car. You only pay till the residual. You get a 4year or 50,000mi agreement/maintenance program. So the entire time you are leasing the car you will never pay for any maintenance and all of the other stuff is warrantied. Plus if you still like the car at the end of your contract you can choose to purchase it if you like and have a low monthly payment for the next 3-5 years however long you decide to rental agreement it for. Along with the the average americans buying cycle with a car is about once every 3.2 years so if you decide that you want something new you walk away from the take care of with clean hands not buried in your car and if you want you can choose to lease another car at that point in time and your security set can be transferred over. Plus if you do decide to keep it they are cheaper to maintain than even most domestic cars. That whole BMW's are expensive thing is bull. Only the upfront fetch is pricey the cost of ownership wipes the floor with a honda or nissan. Belive me I own one of each and my 335ci is the cheapest and I bent the experience of getting to drive this car. Take your dad out, drive all the other cars you are concidering. then just go take a 328i or a 128i around the plan b mask real quick. I promise you that you will both be wanting the Bimmer.

i recommend.. 2010 ford mustang .. costs around 27k but its worth it..
