How is the 2005 Ford Mustang?

Im looking into a buying ford mustang. 2005. Its a guideline. I was wondering what everyone who has owned ones opinion is on this car? How does it drive? Is it good on gas? How do you guys like it?

I have an 07 and I friendship it.

Are you going for V6 or V8
(cause GT's usually cost more insurance-wise)

Now mine's just the V6 so it's not blistering fast of dispatch, but it def has enough HP for traffic/tight situations.

There can be a quarter sec lag or so if it's in the middle of changing gears when you floor it, otherwise it's pretty far-sighted.

Front Seats are comfy and the driver's seat is usually adjustable for height/length. Though I wouldn't counsel you put anyone in the backseat over 12. I mainly use mine for storage,lol

Steering is pretty responsive/tight so you def feel in correspondence with the car when you're driving.

the ride's not too bad, it's a little hard for the big bumps of course but otherwise fine

Gas mileage is decent with the V6 (V8 cease to remember it) I found out my 07 can go from Longbeach to San Diego on practically a quarter tank at freeway speed w/ no problems, otherwise it's in the low to mid 20's.

Does anybody know anything about Tires?

I am conclusion I need to buy some new tires for my 2005 Ford Mustang. At first I thought you always bought the most popular brand of tires, but I guess it indeed depends on how good the tire is. Does anyone know anything about Futura Tires or Definity Tires? I have BF Goodrich on my car now, that came with the car. I was also outlook of taking it to PepBoys, with the buy 3 tires and get the fourth one free. Does anyone have any other suggestions or ideas? Thanks for your aide.

I mean as far as reliability, comfort, sound of the engine, fit and finish, etc. ANYTHING if you have either of these cars please respond.

WELL I HAVE HAD MY 06 MUSTANG FOR 3 YRS NOTHING Blameworthy WITH IS ITS COMFORTABLE ONLY PROBLEM 2DR I THINK THE EVOLUTION HAS 4 THE ENGINE IS BAD ASS TURBO CHARGER ON IT V8 HITTING ABOUT 60 OR SO SOUNDS Benevolent AND ITS GOT THAT CLASSIC MUSTANG STYLE WHICH MAKES IT STAND OUT.

2010 Mustang yay or nay?

I bent Mustangs. I love the redone design Ford did in 2005. Well they've done it again and redesigned the 2010 Mustang. As much as I love Ford...I gotta say I'm not hint this look. The front end reminds me more of a Camaro then the flat faced Mustang. What do you think thumbs up or down?

See the Mustang comes in second place. Overall the mustang is a great car and the way they have resigned is even greater trill to make around in. I would say if you were going to buy a new Mustang go right ahead. But also look at the New Camaro as well...its faster and has a better braking distance. So its up to you...as great as you dont get those crappy 1990-2004 mustangs and stick with the newer models you will be just fine.
