How does 4 wheel low work?
I have a Ford F150 with 4 disc drive. It has a rear limited slip axel. As I understand it, neither the front nor the rears lock, ever. If that's the case, why do they say to never manoeuvre on dry pavement in 4 wheel low?

I've noticed when I come across the wheel the front left tire makes a squeaking noise. It is more pronounced in the early morning and when i accelerate while turning. There aren't any grease fittings to grease anything. I impecuniousness help because I don't know and right can't afford $$$.

I have a 2004 Ford F150 and the power steering went out. I lately got it back from a friend this weekend. I had a question posted on here earlier about why my power steering went out but thats neither here nor there now. I drove it and OMG, i couldnt swing the wheel very well, it stuck like glue then it would loosen as i went straight, and when i would try and turn it was like i had to whirl into the incredible hulk LOL. What was weird was it was very jerky around corners, almost couldnt turn at all.
So my question is....Can someone walk me through the steps to fix it? Im affluent to do it myself. I have the tools but I have never done this before, but am not afraid to do it. I just need to know what to do. So if one of you Fantastic Ford Mechanics *wink can help a bit of skirt out...I would very much appreciate it :-)

i wanted to add something. The woman who had my truck said that moisture is what is causing the problem, could it be cause it sat for 4 months and was driven very little that made it get moisture in there? Should i try the conditioner first and does that dry up moisture? And also Im okay with replacing the concentrate if i have to but is there a way to find out if thats really what needs to be done first, or should i just do it? *sigh lol....I love my truck :-)

UPDATE: I purchased lucas come to a stop leak power steering fluid and also ATF fluid which is what was recommended for 2004 Ford F150. I emptied enthuse c intensify with a baster until it was dry, i added half lucas and half ATF. I drove it, and was turning corners for about 15 minutes. Nothing changed, but also there are no leaks from the hoses or emphasize, so what else could make it stick like this. When i turn it gets stuck then lets loose for one second then it sticks unfeigned bad then lets loose again. Whats my next step? I dont want to replace a pump if its not bad, and if it is bad is there a way to tell, because like i said, there are no leaks :(

Star-crossed i almost forgot.....what do you guys and girls think of this. The cylinder with fluid off the master cylinder was Bleak Green almost flourescent, but yet a Hunter Green. I took a sample into Napa to show them and they said brake unsettled will turn dark brown if its dirty, but not green. And no it wasnt my overflow(the overflow with coolant is swiftly next to it. Im sooo confused as to why this is green and not real thick. Although my brakes feel fine but then again i havent driven it much cuz i cant real now because i cant steer it. Any suggestions? Thank you :-)
