Will I essential the special tool to compress and turn my calipers as only ford have them, if so can i use a different method so dont have to go and by the tool ?

I have a 2002 ford explorer, when I hit the gas it drives sluggish until it gets to 50 then it won't go faster?

I vision it might be trans, in park I hit gas and it sounds sluggish.

I have a 2000 ford explorer. It has been stalling uniquely after long trips. Sometimes it revs with out me doing anything at all (i'll put it in neutral and it will go up to 1 1/2 rpm n move a little, stop, n move again..). When it is doing this, if i put my foot on the gas, it wont do nethng, then it may move a short and then stop. i don't know whats wrong with it but some people said it might need a new fuel pump. Encouragement pumps and labor to put it in is expensive so i am just looking for other suggestions before i go do that.

Im going to buy a 1998 ford explorer but it needs a new manifold gasket. can i just use heal a seal?

I dont be to spend a lot of money on the repair if i can just pour a liquid in it and fix it. will this work??

My car won't start sometimes, the battery appears to be dead but isn't.?

Sometimes, as per usual a few times a week, my 1995 Ford Explorer will not start. When I try to crank it up, it just clicks like the battery is unresponsive. The lights, radio, etc. will be on but the battery display will show it only being about 1/4 of the way charged. If I try to crank 1 or 2 more times, it will just clearly die and nothing will come on. I'll let it sit and go back out and it will either start right up, or for some reason the alarm would have set itself now and the car will still not start.

Other times it will run just fine and have no problems starting all day. It's been doing this for about 3 weeks now and I have not jumped it once so I be sure the batter is not dieing. Any help would be appreciated.
