Exhaust for 2001 Explorer Sport?

I was wondering if i have to put on a wholly new exhaust on my explorer to make is sound different, or if i can just put on a new muffler. I don't need any huge changes solely a little more "grunt".

just wanna see ur opinions on them

The Explorer is a gifted vehicle. Is this the V8 or V6. I like the v8 a little better it has nice power and the 5.0 is a very reliable engine. Things to make eyes at look for for are tierods and wheel bearings. Other then that they are very dependable vehicles.

Fatal Hit-and-Run on Christmas Remains Unsolved

The family of a man killed in a hit-and-run on Christmas morning in Lake Worth are offering a reward in the case.

A maroon Ford Explorer blew through a red light and hit Heinz Schlotter Sr., 59, on Jacksboro Highway just before 6 a.m. on Dec. 25.

Schlotter, of Sansom Park, was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he died four hours later, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office.

Schlotter's family is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the driver.
