Ford Explorer Front Bumper Piece?

hi. i have a '99 ford explorer eddie bauer. my fellow-man has a '00 ford explorer eddie bauer. under his front bumper, there is a black plastic piece that goes across the front of the car. i don't know how else to describe it, like a chin spoiler or something. is there any way i can buy that theme for my truck and can anyone find a link to one on the internet. thanks.

Its called a valance and rout bet is to find a pull a part junkyard, and get it from a wrecked explorer. good luck

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. Husson Motors, Salem NH?

I'm looking to buy a 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Issue. 4 door, 6 cylinder, 4x4, couple interior perks (power everything, CD player, etc...)

It has 86,000 miles on it, the thickness looks solid. And the dealer has a great reputation, (Husson Motors in Salem NH) A+ from the BBB.
Price is $8,000. Is this car advantage it? I'm looking for a low maintenence car for light commuting.

**PS** Please, only answer if you own(ed) one, sold them, or repaired them. Also any info on that dealer is appreciated as well. Thanks!

Family's parked cars struck on State Street

ALTON - Living along a busy Christian Hill street has been bad luck for a family recently, with late-night drivers smashing into two of their vehicles within four months, hitting one twice.

Both times, the motorists responsible for the crashes drove away without leaving a note on a windshield or contacting the owners, the DiPaolo family of the 600 block of State Street.

Police have not discovered the identity of either driver, but the DiPaolos want to know who wreaked the damage.
