My financier has a R reg escort 16v and is selling the wheels off it, and was just wondering if they would fit on my S reg vw polo?

There is a diminutive rubber disk like piece that is under the area where my brake light pedal is in my car. It keeps the down light off when my car is not in use. It has slipped out recently and has caused my car battery to drain because the light stayed on. What is that piece called? I have a 1999 Ford Escort.

help me remove my coolant.?

i drained my radiator coolant, but my reservoir is still full.
how do i tap the reservoir so i can put fresh new coolant in?

i tried getting under the reservoir but its sealed off by some metal...
i see a radiator hose that can under any circumstances be connected to the reservoir, but i only have access to the part of the hose that is connected to the bottom part of the radiator, the other part connected to the reservoir is blocked off...

if i cast off the hose connected to the bottom part of the radiator will that allow the coolant from the reservoir to fall out?

99 ford escort changed tpsensor and mass air flow sensor. idles but seem like not enough air?

I have a 99 fd escort lx 5 skedaddle, 6 cylinder, that was bucking. changed plugs and wires, throttle position sensor and nugget air flow sensor. It will idle now but when open the throttle it revs up and down like starving for air or fuel, checked power on fuel pump and is in normal range. bucks hard and stalls when try to drive. when pput on computer it came up as tp sensor and zoom sensor.
exhaust is putting out a lot of air. Is there a way to adjust air/gas mixture?

I have a 1999 Ford Escort, and it is making a rattling tumult whenever I accelerate. While I was in the shop getting a tire repair, the mechanic said that the "shaker notice" is cracked and needs to be replaced. I can't find anything on shaker pipes online. The text on the quote says "needs ex shaker conveyor after cat converter 400.00 installed". Some coworkers suggested that this part might be the flex pipe (and also that $400 is a ripoff). What do you suppose?

My a/c stopped working on my 98 Ford Escort... What can it be?

Recently the a/c in my 98 Escort stopped working all of a rapid. The a/c was blowing very cold air and worked perfectly before going out. Prior to the a/c going out I had replaced my radiator because it had gone out and was causing my car to over impetuosity and smoke. I changed the radiator and the car no longer over heats but now the a/c does not blow any cold air at all... no more than warm air.

I checked to see if maybe I disconnected something while changing the radiator but I can not see anything. What can be causing my a/c to not function correctly? I bought a a/c re-assert kit form an auto parts store and tried o see if it worked but when I connect the gauge it says the system is full and does not prerequisite a re-charge... where can i start?
