Determination of the vertical deformation and strength characteristics of a soil?

How would one estimate the vertical force in Kn/m2 considering the use of a load cell with a piston diameter of 54mm being jacked against a reaction stack (i.e. excavator) acting down on a 450mm plate leveled on a formation soil. The pressure being exerted by the load cubicle is in units of bar (i.e. 245 bar). Would I have to multiply my pressure (245 bar) with the area of the piston (0.002290 m2) = 56.11 Kpa and then multiply by the arena of the plate (0.159043 m2) to convert to a force... 352.8 Kn/m2? Am I on the correct to assume that the area of the piston should be enchanted into consideration and not just the plate?

i saw an add for this and contemplation it looked pretty cool but was wondering if anyone had experience ?is there a high impaction risk even though it is hardened?if so is there a substrate that would get the same look across without the gamble?

iv been working with incomprehensible plant ie loading shovels,360 excavators above and below 10ton,concrete crushers,dump trucks all sizes,alsorts of transplant really for the last 10 years and now i want to come of the machines and become a nvq assessor in this catergory,does anyone no how i would do this?through you

lathe, or a grinder. The repayment from each will be determined by whether the company
succeeds in getting a government contract. The profit or loss from each purchase and
the probabilities associated with each understanding outcome are shown in the following payoff
table. Compute the expected value for each purchase and hand-picked the best one.

Gerry is insomuch as hiring a military consultant to ascertain whether he will get the
government contract. The consultant is a former military officer who uses several personal
contacts to find out such information. By talking to other excavators who have hired the
consultant, Gerry has estimated a .70 odds that the consultant would present a
favorable report given that the contract is awarded to the shop, and a .80 likelihood that
the consultant would present an unfavorable report given that the contract is not awarded.

Using decision tree critique, determine:

b. The decision strategy Gerry should follow based on the expected value.

Im currently 17 living in victoria, I am very wail to get a job at the start of next year operating machinery prefferably excavators. I have no qualifications but I have plenty of experience operating big tractors with front end loaders and most of the machinery that goes with that. so I dearth a job in the mining somewhere that can provide training and courses to clain tickets etc. I dont care where I have to go in australia. Can anyone give me some dirt on what I can do in my situation?

Primary Queensland offers good wages in the mining industry and full training. There are also mines in Western Australia. I'm not trustworthy what the company names are exactly, but if you google 'mining jobs in Australia' you should find some opportunities. It's really the only roar industry we have at the moment - you can earn big cash.
