Bmw 3 series convertible?

I am truly considering buying a Bmw convertible. Looking at the 2001-2006 model. Does anyone know what the 2 and 2.5 litre is like to run?

How well does the textile hood cope during cold (ice and snow) weather? Do you have to protect it and store it in a garage to minimise frost location?

Also, do you get much noise driving on motorways? If buying second hand, what should I look out for?

cars are appealing quiet, the 2.5 is a good motor, take the car to a bmw mechanic to checkout, make sure that top does not leek, and everything runs entertaining.

The antecedent to answerer pretty much said it already. And go for the 2.5 .
But the soft top while it can hold up to wintery weather is best garaged during the winter months to protract its life.
There are also places where you can buy a hard top to put on during inclement weather.

Why does the management light on my bmw 3 series Always come on?

My mom asked this

Communication : we have had it since 2006 about 4 years and we have decided to sell it now but the management light keeps coming on and there is no problems with the car or nothing we have had it checked and are wondering is it ok to put across it with the light on

stay in the book what the warning light means. some cars have warning lights for very trivial faults. of tack the gfault could be with sensor that detects the faults.
any buyer will see the light and be put off so u need to sort it or risk losing bread on the sale
