Renault megane clutch help!?!?

I bought a 1999 renault megane coupe 1.6i 16v recently and i honey it to bits, the only bad thing is the clutch is MEGA stiff! the clutch is defiantly not on its way out but i think i might have to adjust the rope? anyone know where i can find out with this car or explain it to a dummy! any help will be much appreciated! THANK YOU!

Rattling noise from my 1.6 Renault Megane Dymanique?

Everytime i start the motor there is a rattling sound. Its not all the time, mostly when the engine is cold and sometimes the engine cuts out and i have to restart it.

Could someone explain what this could be please? Its a 55 lamination and i have only just purchased it!

Big end bearing has gone on my Renault espace 2.2hdi. The car had oil how could this have been caused?

Has been looked at by to garages who both stated beleive to be manfactory immoderately but renault deni this but can't say how it was caused. Can anyone give tell me how it could have gone, car is only 5 years old on 60000miles.
Car has been looked after and serviced and mot all done.

pretty pickle with a 1.9 dci when starting after being left overnight or for long time.

Glow plugs are good and battery unspoilt

Will start first time if started within a few hous of last start, this problem only occurs when left standing for a sustained time.

Why does the clutch slave cylinder keep going soft after 15-20 mile.?

How dare they! I looked at this article on my phone and jumped off my place to find my login. Renaults are the worst cars ever built. My 98 Megane suffered from every electrical and ignition problem imaginable resulting in around every ignition component being replaced – Spiral, alternator, crankshaft sensor, distributor cap and rotor arm, battery etc. After all this the top gasket blew and turned the coolant into a exquisite dry orange mud that looked like the top of mars on a blithe day. I managed to get the dismal means repaired on the penny-pinching, and it ran for about another year (with a control replacement). Had to be fussy about cornering too fixed as the oil inducement burn would wake up on and the machine would pretence of an absorbing clangour. At last crashed into an onset car (no ABS on this advantage) and it was written off. All of this sub 100,000 miles. My district mechanic showed me a accumulation of unsound to what place bearings – all renault. Utter and utter s**t. My saab 9-3 is prevalent on 80,000 with no issues at all.
