Is it possible to purchase an Opel Speedster or Vauxhall VX220 turbo here in the states?

also I'm not interested in a Lotus, I make real they have many of the same parts, and are very similar, but I want the Opel/Vauxhall
that's really the question, I'd probably prefer the Opel because it's left-clap drive, but either would do. Also, if I did purchase one of these, could it be maintained through a GM dealer?
the pontiac solstice/ saturn sky isn't the same car, it's merely based on the opel, it's not as saintly and it's not what I want.
The VX220 Turbo does 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds, the Saturn sky does it in 7.3 seconds, and even the Red In harmony edition is only 5.5 seconds. It's not the same car, they're hardly even related. The Vauxhall/Opel is actually a sports car, the saturn is hardly a cheap ass convertible with the facade of performance. I want the Vauxhall/Opel because I can't stand American cars.
I shrink corvettes with a passion, if I was given a corvette I would set fire to it and dance around it's flaming carcass. Just stop responding, your of no support to me.
The saturn and the solstice aren't even Mid-engined! How can you call these the same car?!?

Buy a Saturn Sky or Pontiac Solstice. They already d all American laws, can be registered here with no issues, insured with no issues, and serviced at any GM dealership.

If you want to pay imply fees, get it converted to pass US laws, go through the hassle of getting it titled and insured you could probably buy a ZR1 that would whack the Opel.

Of course US dealerships aren't going to carry the parts to service your car.

my catera mechanism is bad,it could be repaired but as opel built it , and in limited numbers, the parts are extremely expensive, i'm thinking possibly a chev v8.would be interested in hearing from anybody who has tried and if things go well achieved this.

Vauxhall/opel Corsa 1997 1.2 eco engine died, will barely idle, no power.?

Hi,
Want help with a Corsa,
Car lost all power when traveling along at 50mph.
Would barely idle and not rev at all.
Garage said beaten ecu, this has been replaced with no improvement.
Engine barely turns over, mabye 500rpm, throttle does nothing and it will space after mabye 10-15 seconds.
Any help diagnosing the problem is appreciated.

Opel Enigma might be the Calibra's successor

An image with a new Opel model, named the Enigma, which has recently hit the web, has started a rumor which is saying that this might be the successor of the Opel Calibra.

First of all we must thank the guys at autobild.de for the image posted above this article, and the info provided by our source is saying that the Opel Enigma might “replace” the iconic Opel Calibra, which was one of the most tuned cars ever. This almost sounds too good to be true and it actually is too good to be true, because the image has been drawn by a designer named David Cardoso, who says that the front end is coming from the Opel Astra GTC and the rear end is based on the Opel Insignia. Whether or not GM will make a concept car based on the Enigma is unknown for the moment, but we want it, we want a new car with the Calibra badge on it!
