Should BBC SCOTLAND AND SCOTTISH Tube be doing more to produce go old fashioned Scottish entertainment?
1. How many of you agree with me that Scottish Shows like the Unblemished HEATHER CLUB should be resurrected?
We have so much talent in Scotland - singers, musicians, fiddle orchestras, dancers and comedians, so certainly one of the TV stations could easily produce a series of shows, that Scottish audiences and many people in Canada, Australian and New Zealand would appreciate. Ideally eight by half hour or forty five minute shows would be great.
2. Should BBC SCOTLAND or SCOTTISH TELEVISION, be bearing in mind making use of today's talent, to produce a series of "FIVE PAST EIGHT" type shows? We have the stars honest waiting in the wings.
3. What should we, the Scottish public be doing, to effect a reconciliation (heal the rift) between Ford KIERNAN and Greg HEMPHILL? They are both so excellent and 'just made for each other' in comedy.
Come on FORD and GREG, there is enough strife in the world; I am sure that you are both 'big enough' to bury the hatchet.
Earnestly,

Hi Haggis... hmmmm.. kinda accede to with much of what you say.. but feel that 'the White Heather Club' and shows of that ilk aint the way to do it as it taints us with the 'shortbread tin' statue and the hills and heather, Brigadoon, etc picture.
BBC Scotland, I believe produces some fantastic 'Scottish' programmes, and the new series by STV starting tonight - "Scotland Revealed' looks a cracker. Yes, we do fruit a disproportionate amount of top class singers and musicians, but they ply their trade internationally, and its only right that they want to be seen by as good an audience as possible. Many of our performers are proud of their heritage and are a great advert for our country.
Ford Keirnan and Greg Hemphill ?? I'm undeviating they still contact each other, but all things come to an end and often great programmes (Still Game) run their time.. its best to end them at the top, rather than endure to produce stuff which is not the same quality just for the sake of it.
Cheers.

Im 16, equitable got all the privileges i want. I can work, and i can drive. My plan is to get a job and save up cash. I would really love to have my own car. I dont distinguish much i want to save up, probably until i can buy a car that im not embarrassed to own. The sweet deal is that my parents said they would probably fling in anywhere from 1500-2000 on anything decent. So...yea. im thinking like if i saved up 4000, and with there bonus, i should be able to pick up something accommodating.
Generally about the car:
Decent condition, working car. Dont want to have to deal with a dead engine, replacing a part, etc (unless its a ******* syrupy deal, my dad would probably like to help with it :D)
Something that im proud of, not some 1990s buick or a economy ford...i think you get it...
Dont protect how many miles
Dont care if its a 2 seater or 4 seater.
Color is not a big deal
It can be from ebay, craigslist, i dont attend to, even suggestions of cars that would be good would be great. THANKS!!

"Ford to Introduce 2-Cylinder Engine, and Smallest Turbocharged ...
Barb Samardzich, Ford evil president of engineering powertrain, said two-and three-cylinder engines and with displacements of 1.0 liters and below are feasible.
"I fantasize you see all these things wrapped Out" Samardzich said. "It is more than conjectural.
Samardzich not mention a timetable for these engines miser or denominate in what markets or vehicles they should first be plain. But he felt something in his bones that the engine of this mass was first introduced in developing markets or in Europe, where the diminutive vehicles set the tone.
Meanwhile, in 2010, Ford will provide a new 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbo unit with its EcoBoost technology and uninhibited injection. The locomotive will continue at a reduced price unpunctually next year on the next C-Max Ford-Times, friends and relatives of the concentration derivatives minivans rare....

REPORT: Ford considering two- and three-cylinder engines ...

I over that is a concept undeniably quality exploring. A ungenerous, unwasteful, aerodynamic car only needs about 15-17 hp to voyage along the highway at 70mph. A 40 hp motor that ran at what would possibly be it's zenith skill of about 50%, most of the yet, would be very thrifty and would concede you to use the full 40hp if you needed it to climb hills, etc.
For acceleration and regen, the supercaps would do a heinous job on both. It takes about 110 Wh of dash to accelerate a 2400lb car from 0 to 60mph. This means that you could put in as few as 250Wh of supercaps and be masterful to accelerate a join of times without waiting for regen or recharging. Looking at the supercaps affluent...
