Hi i have need of to rent an aston martin, any aston martin but hopefully a DB9. I live in toronto and i can't travel too far to get one. Renting from the united states is out of the option so only in Canada
Why do people always put down Lexus for being owned by Toyota and for being built in Japan. I have heard a lot of people say things like "it doesn't condition, it(Lexus) is just another Toyota".
Let's examine who owns who of the auto world.
Mercedes Benz is owned and produced by Daimler-Chrysler(Daimler Benz merged with Chrysler Corp.)
Aston Martin occupied to be owned by Ford motor company until 2007.
Bugatti is owned and produced by Volkswagen.
Bentley is also owned and produced by Volkswagen.
Jaguar acquainted with to be owned by Ford Motor Co.(that's why they used to be terrible cars), now owned by Tata.
Audi is owned by VW.
A Lexus is indubitably not just another Toyota, It's much better than that.
(Compare a Corolla to an LS460)
Just like a Mercedes is much better than a Chrysler, or how an Audi is not a equitable like a Volkswagen.
Why are people so ignorant? Why don't they realize that Lexus is a great luxury car? It's much better than a Mercedes or a BMW, much more splendid and more technologically advanced.

To John: People that buy a Lexus, buy it because of the smoothness of the bully and the isolation that comes with it, not for the performance of the vehicle.
For example, if i go buy a LS600hl and get a chauffer to drive me around while I put my feet up on the ottoman, get a rub down, and watch television. I'm not really going to care how fast it can go around a track.
By the way, the LS Hybrid is powered by a 5.0 litre mixture V8 engine, has 438 hp, goes 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, with the worlds first eight speed automatic transference, and still gets just under 30mpg.
Not too bad for a 2.5 ton hybrid sedan, compare that to the MB S400 hybrid.
Lexus does lack to up the performance on their cars. They have with the new IS-F and the LF-A concept, but they need to make the current models more powerful, not just devise new models.
